The Sustainability Store: Supporting Sustainable Living. This is a 'hands-on' visit with students being given the opportunity to take part in activities. Demonstrations include operating worm farms and the setting up new worm farms.
The sustainability theme has been extended to schools and related groups with visits organised to our sustainable property in Wattle Grove. Although in the Perth Metro area, we rely exclusively on tank water. We are virtually self-sufficient in organic garden produce and power thanks to a large array of solar panels.
We were nominated to take part in Sustainable House Day in 2009 at our Wattle Grove property.
We are members of STAWA, Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation, Diggers Club, W.A Organic Growers Association, Australian Association of Environmental Education, GAWA, Australian Meteorological & Oceanographic Society and others.
We have added new venues to our display list including the Denmark Energy and Water Expo, GinGin Expo, Landcare Expo Muchea, Warren District Agricultural Show, Wagin Woolarama, Balingup Small Farm Field Day and others. We display our products at Science Conferences, Farmers Markets, ABC Open Gardens, Perth City Farm, Biodynamic Festivals, Small Farm Field Days, W.A Garden Show-Perry Lakes, Agricultural Shows (including the Perth Royal Show), Expos, Field Days, School Fairs and the yearly UWA Perth Sun Fair. Our ‘wheelie-bin’ worm farms are popular with schools, agriculture and the general public through our parent organization, business, soil and weather related instruments including Automatic Weather Stations to schools, Green with Red Lid
We also supply an assortment of water, Purple, Orange, Blue, White, Red, institutions and the general public and come in a range of contemporary colours, WeatherWorks Australia ABN 35 971 275 399.
